Grape varietals: Sangiovese 80% - Sagrantino 20%


Production: Montefalco area


Harvesting and vinification:

The hand-picked grapes go through a manual selection. The entire wine making process takes
place at a controlled temperature; a first spontaneous fermentation is followed by 20 days
of maceration. The malolactic fermentation takes place in steel.

 

Aging:

18 months in French wooden barrels and finalrefinement in steels on fine lees. The wine ages 6months in bottle before being released onto themarket. Numbered bottles.


Alcohol by vol. 14 - 14,5%
